This single vineyard Malbec exhibits ripe aromas of red and blacks fruits, a rich mouthful of plush dark fruits on the palate cradled with velvety tannins. The soft natural acidity makes the wine readily approachable now, but it will cellar and be enjoyed for many years to come.

Season

The 2024 vintage was a rewarding year with dry weather and low disease pressure. A cool start to spring led to delayed budburst followed by a gentle ripening period. The reds finished with wonderful fruit intensity and elegantly structured tannins. Another great season for the Margaret River region.

Vinification

Fruit was hand harvested on 16 February, 2024 and immediately de-stemmed to an open fermenter and co-inoculated with selected yeast and malolactic bacteria strains. The ferment was gently pumped over daily over for a period of 7 days until dry, and then pressed to seasoned French oak barriques. The wine was matured in oak for a period of 16 months prior to racking, filtering and bottling in July 2025.
