2025 Rosé

2025 was a welcome relief form the hectic pace of the previously hot and dry vintage, with the growing season offering perfect conditions for all varietals on the estate. Good winter and spring rainfall was followed by a warm, disease free, and slower ripening period. The result of this
were all varietals being harvested in pristine condition.

Shiraz (70%) from Margaret River and grenache (30%) from Frankland River were selected and harvested eight days apart on 14 and 22 February 2024 respectively and processed and fermented separately.

Both parcels were immediately crushed and pressed off skins before pressing to stainless steel tanks for clarification.

The relatively clear juices were then fermented in temperature-controlled tanks using a combination of cultured yeasts. The shiraz component had a fermentation period of 16 days, and the grenache component 21 days.

Post ferment, the wines were racked off lees and then blended in tank for storage. The wine was cross-flow filtered prior to bottling on 8 July 2024.
